NATURAL
look case study
NATURAL look is a range of quality hair and beauty products
from Artav Australia. The NATURAL look web site was developed
to cater for their rapidly expanding customer base, who were
interested in finding out more information about their products,
as well as specials, news stories and purchase information.
Brief
More than 10 different product ranges exist under the NATURAL
look name, each with their own unique branding. The web site
design needed to establish the brand for NATURAL look while
being flexible enough to allow each product range's brand
to show through.
Process
Katalyst worked in close collaboration with the client to
arrive at the final solution, regularly meeting with the marketing
department to ensure that a thorough understanding of the
different ranges was gained. This enabled each product to
stay closely aligned with it's own branding, an important
goal for a site with so many products.
Results
The design, based around a four square grid, proved to be
an ideal solution as it gave the site the flexibility to portray
different types of information graphics, presentation graphics
and colour blocks to re-enforce the product's branding successfully.
There are future plans to develop the NATURAL look site into
an e-commerce store based on the amount of business the site
generates. Artav Australia receive an average of 50 enquiries
per week from the site.
